Wow okay I feel like I am in a replay of last Mother's Day weekend with all this rain, minus the pregnant belly. We are getting a little water in the basement but so far very minor and very manageable. This weather is more than a little disturbing. Our weather pattern over the last year has definitely warranted a wake up call to global warming. If not we may all be in major trouble in a very short amount of time. We are monitoring the water levels and saying a silent prayer that our water problem doesn't get any worse if not we could be in a heap of trouble with the boys room down their.
Well I hope everyone else is fairing as well.

Not a baby anymore
Well this year has just flown by, it seems just like I just had Brady. Not that he is just around the corner to being a year old. I started the weaning off the bottle today and so far so good. Should be completely off by the end of the week and we are on the last can of formula he will ever have either. Will start introducing whole milk probably next week. Wow what happened to my little newborn. He officially started crawling today today well his form of it. Kind of looks like a contortionist but he is now all over the place and the official babyproofing begins. As he sweetly sleeps at night I quietly whisper stay little just a little longer my baby. Don't be in such a hurry there will be plently of time to be big but only such a short time to be small. As I type this he was playing in his room and I look and there he is peeking around the corner at me laughing that he made it all the way back into the livingroom. Okay well time to go think I am going to go put up the child gate so we don't have any baby accidents.
Talk to you all later.

Stress case
I don't exactly know what is going on lately but normally I think I am pretty even key. However, lately I am such a stress case. My family is driving me insane and my friends are irratating me. I am starting to wonder if it is them or if I am being overly sensitive to something that may or may not be there. I kind of feel like I am being pulled in 1,000 directions and there is only one of me and then I have the other extreme where I feel they don't give a hoot. On top of this my stinkin computer is TICKING me off. Nothing is going the way it is supposed to be going. AARRGGHH!!!
I think I need to just go before I flip out on this computer. It is throughly irrating me this evening.
Okay well talk to you all later

Ewwww Can you say bats
I so forgot to fill you guys all in on this disgusting story. On Saturday we decided with the rainy spring approaching we should fix a leaky cement footing in the basement to avoid any further flooding. So as we are rearranging our mounds of crap that was stored in the basement, Jeff lifts an old TV and finds a bat!! Yes I said bat. It was very much alive and screaming at us. A noise I will probably never forget so we capture it and quickly dispose of it. However as we open the bulked (sp?) door and look up their is another bat perched above the door on the inside. Now we have quite the dilemma how in heavens name do we get it out. We call animal control the don't deal with bats only dogs they tell us. They give us a # for animal critter call them they want $70 for the call and $89 for the removal of the bat. NO WAY!! So Jeff decides to squirt it with the hose to try and get it out. Doesn't work we try and get out the pool pole and net and scoop it out. Nope doesn't work it is attacking anything we go near and with. It is also screaming this sound I have never heard before in my life. I am such a chicken sh*t. We say what do we do now I know lets call Colby. So Colby comes out and as Jeff and I are standing on the deck shaking like leafs. Colby goes in slams the bat and sadly but inevitably what has to happen kills the bat. YEAH COLBY!!! Ewww I have never before had a bat problem and I hope never ever to have this problem again in my life.

The Best Time
Yesterday we had my dad's 60th surprise birthday party. This is one person that you can not easily surprise. But we all got him. He had no idea and it was so so great. There were people there that I had not seen in 10-20 years. What a great time. I just loved to see people that I remember from my childhood and get to introduce them to my husband and children. Most of them were in udder shock by how big the boys were. They had seen them through pictures but never in person. Wow still tired from the day but it will be a day that remains in my memories for a long time to come. What makes it extra special was my dad thought we had all blown his birthday off because of Kelly's wedding. His actual birthday was March 1st and her wedding was March 17th in Florida. So to his surprise my mom decided to due it on April 1st as a huge April fools joke. Surprise we hadn't forgotten.
Well have a great day all.
