Well yesterday I bundled the baby up and attempted to go play in the snow. Can anyone say COLD. I mean freezing your skin the minute you walk outside. *Sigh* We managed to give Brady a couple of rides in his new sled and I couldn't take it anymore, back inside I went. Brady seemed to love the ride, giggling at every turn. I even managed to snap two pictures, before my fingers froze off. Very disappointed that it was just too cold to play outside.
Then we went to Austin's basketball game at 6 pm. Once again they lost. However, Austin managed to jam his fingers with the ball quite badly. He seems hardly able to move his pointer finger. Really hoping he didn't break it. Will give it a few days to see if it improves, hard to tell at this point because it is really swollen.
It is so cold again today. I have to go grocery shopping too. I am just not looking forward to it at all. We are so bad skipped church today because I just couldn't get myself to get going very quickly this morning. The thought of going outside really was so unappealing. So I made muffins instead. Bad me, Bad me.
Colby is going ice skating this afternoon with his friend Luke. He is so excited. I was looking at him this morning he went through an enormous growth spurt overnight. I think he may be just about as tall as I am now. I am not sure where it came from, but really thrilled to see it. He was long overdue and he has really slimmed out a bit because of it. Scary to think that in just a few weeks, I will be the mother of a 10 year old. I am too young to have a child so old. LOL!!! Not really but I just wonder where time went. It seems like just yesterday that I was working full time and Rachael was pregnant with Dane and babysitting my little guy. He was so teeny tiny. Boy that didn't last long. Too think then I went on to have 2 more and who knows if we won't try for that fourth.
Okay enough rambling for today.
