My Crazy Life

When things go wacky they really go wacky. I really couldn't dream the weird things that happen in my life.

Brady has his 9 mo checkup today 29 1/4" and 21.5 pds. He is 80% for height and 60% for weight. So all is well. Great muscle tone. Still has RSV but no worse so it should take its coarse and clear up with out any major complications. BUT.... you all knew it was coming. He seems to have a problem when you lay him on his tummy he seems unable to use his legs to move about. He should be scooting all over the place and doesn't move from the spot you place him in. No matter how bad he may want an item if you hold it out of his reach he can not come get it. He can move in a circle using his torso and arms only not his legs. Even when you are right in front of him to pull him self up so you pick him up, he will only use his arms and torso and not his legs. Yet at the same time he is almost walking everyone seems quite puzzled. So the doctor was going to call Easter Seals to question them. To see if they think he just doesn't have the motivation or if they think something may be wrong with his hips etc. I should here something back hopefully on Monday to see if he needs to go see a specialist or where we go from here.

He is my tallest baby at this age the other two were 29" so he is a quarter of an inch taller and almost a pound lighter than the other boys were. Just thought this was a cool fact.

On Saturday I have to go to my sisters wedding shower. So for the first time in Brady's 9 mo's I have hired a sitter. Megan G. who would have ever thought. I mean I watched her as a baby and watched her grow up. When did all these children get so old. Oh man does that mean I am that old too. UGH!!! When did all this happen when I was sleeping. Time is flying by entirely too fast. I want all these kids to go back to being little again and watch them all grow a little more closely this time and enjoy even the stressful times a little bit more.

Okay getting sappy time to go.
